The Real Estate Market in Los Altos seems to have picked up over the last few weeks and we say, “Buy now and start enjoying life in Los Altos”.   Many buyers sit on the proverbial fence waiting for market conditions to be just right before they will buy a home.  They want prices to go down, interest rates to be low, and some assurance that they are getting a good deal.  We agree that purchasing a home in Los Altos is a huge investment.  However, we also remind our clients that, if you are going to live here for a long time, take that leap of faith and buy a home so you can start enjoying life in Los Altos now.

As we move into late spring/early summer, Los Altos has so many wonderful events to offer the community.  We are personally looking forward to next week’s “Spring Stroll” on May 1st from 5-9pm.  Family and friends gather downtown to shop while enjoying food, drinks, & live entertainment.  Over 50 of our unique Downtown Los Altos Shops will stay open late for this very fun,event.

Of course no one can deny the amazing turnout we have each year at the Los Altos Pet Parade.  This year’s 62nd Annual Pet Parade will take place on May 16th.  It is the only parade that we know of where more people walk in the parade than watch it!  From chickens, to snails, to llamas, to horses, it seems just about every type of pet is represented.  This parade has been hosted by the Kiwanis Club for over 60 years.  Los Altos residents, young and old, look forward to this very fun event!

So, if you are looking for a home in Los Altos, now is a great time to make a move.  Prices have adjusted, interest rates are great, and if you buy now, you can start enjoying life in Los Altos as a homeowner!
